Brantly was born and raised in Sugar Land, Texas. He attended Clements High School, where he played baseball and graduated from in 1999. After high school, Brantly attended Texas A&M University. In 2004, he earned a BS in Economics and a minor in Business Administration. After graduating from A&M, Brantly started his career in the financial services industry as a financial consultant with A.G. Edwards & Sons, Inc. In 2008, he earned an Executive MBA from Colorado Tech University. In 2009, Brantly entered the advertising industry with C&M Marketing and Communications. The transition from finance to the advertising industry was a smooth one, because advertising is an investment into your business, and your return on investment can be tracked and your advertising dollars can be re-allocated accordingly. Brantly joined the HumTum team in September 2009 where his focus is on maintaining relations with our mainstream clients, new client acquisition and billing.

Hey ill start by giving you guys a little background on me I was born in Houston but am 100% desi and 1% Texan. At a Young age I was introduced to desi and bollywood music. Everyone in my family as in all desi families, loved music. As I got older I began to understand and relate to these sometimes sad, happy, and celebratory, but always wonderful songs. So began my interest with music and the appreciation of the artists. Eg : Kishore Kumar, mohammad rafi, Sonu Nigam, and Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan. My taste goes from Bollywood pop/remixes to traditional qawalis and ghazals. My family has been in and out of the radio business for years so you can say I was made for the radio.

As any proud desi I Enjoy the desi culture and i am very proud to be part of our community. And of course being desi means a big appreciation of desi food ....what's the point of going desi weddings if not for the food . Ha ha

I am Currently a Double Major in Psych and Comm. I wanted to major in these degrees because I enjoy interacting with people. I feel radio is a wonderful way to communicate with the masses and it helps that I become better in interacting with people thru my work in radio. One day will like to use my degree to help our community and other people understand our culture better and make positive advancemtn for the desi community.
